As part of Stage Three of the Foundations and Portfolio Preparation in your Ph.D. program at DFICU Universities, you are required to conceptualize and develop New Research Initiatives. This stage focuses on driving innovation and advancing your academic field by proposing original ideas or projects that expand the boundaries of existing knowledge (existing publication). Below are the objectives and expectations for this critical phase: Purpose and Objectives: Encourage Originality: Develop new research ideas that address unanswered questions, solve real-world problems, or offer innovative solutions to existing challenges within your field (in line with your chosen dissertation topic).

STAGE 1: Research Recognition and Portfolio Review Portfolio Preparation: Compile and present a comprehensive portfolio that includes: A summary of your research work. Published journal articles, conference papers, or any other academic publications. Details of academic presentations or workshops you have participated in. Awards, recognitions, or grants received related to your research.
